Polaris Recalls Ranger 900 ROVs due to Fire and Burn Hazards

Last Friday, Polaris issued a recall of 51,00 model year 2015 Ranger 900 ROVs due to fire and burn hazard. According to Polaris, the hazard is caused by a heat shield falling off the vehicle. Polaris has issued 10 recalls of vehicles in the last 4 years to fix various flaws. The number of Polaris vehicles recalled totals well-over 252,000. Polaris vehicle fires have resulted in numerous injuries and the death of a 15-year-old child.
